Pre-K Ministry Policies and Procedures
Our teachers are expected to arrive in their classes 15 minutes before children are scheduled to arrive.
We make sure each child has identification and no child is to be released to anyone without the corresponding ID. Please help us by placing name tags or identification tags on diaper bags and bottles and please be sure to write down for us any special instructions for your child.
We only allow children to be dropped off and picked up at the door of the classroom. Parents are not allowed to be in the classrooms. This causes confusion and upsets other children.
We change diapers as needed or accompany children to the restroom. When taking a child to the restroom, the service coordinator is notified for accountability. Men never change diapers or accompany girls to the restroom. When changing diapers, gloves are worn at all times, paper is placed on the changing table, and the area is disinfected when completed.
Every classroom has a security camera and our security teams are on duty during all services.
All workers must be 18 years of age or older to work in our preschool ministry. They must also be screened through a criminal background check and references. This is for the safety of the children as well as the liability of the workers.
Parents Should...
Feed your children before you arrive.
Try to arrive early.
Make sure your child is signed in and properly identified.
Label all of your personal bags, sippy cups, snacks ,etc.
Pick up your child first and then fellowship with your friends and family.
Do not bring your child if he or she is sick.
Do not drop off your child and then leave the church campus. There is
always a place for you as a parent to be ministered to or to minister. For
no reason should you leave the Mud Creek church campus.
Drop your child off at the door and do not go into the classroom or
environment for safety and sanitation reasons.
